B.R.I.D.G.E.S. Project Workplan

The B.R.I.D.G.E.S project was started through a Tier one funding grant through the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) in October of 2017.

B.R.I.D.G.E.S Project:  Building Relationships to Influence program Development to Generate Enduring physical activity Support

The goal of the B.R.I.D.G.E.S project was to establish an advisory board of stakeholders bringing together patients, community leaders, providers, clinicians and innovators to:

1. Understand the barriers and challenges to sustained Physical Activity for Senior Citizens age 60+ with joint pain or mobility issues.

2. Understand incentives, support and resources needed to ensure that Seniors have support for sustained Physical Activity.

3. Establish patient-centered research around interventions that will improve sustained Physical Activity and enhanced quality of life for seniors with chronic musculoskeletal and mobility issues.
